I think I would be missing out on a little of life if I didn’t learn how to make smoothies. I am a huge fan of the ice cold juicy goodness that fills my heart and stomach at the same time. There are different kinds of smoothies out there. Some of my favorites are blueberry/banana, chocolate/avocado, coconut/pineapple, and mixed berries/spinach. Besides the taste and the texture of this amazing drink, I love that my children like it too (including my husband on that one.) I can mix all kinds of fiber in there and they don’t have a clue. The one I recently made was a mint green smoothie. It is inspired by this amazing website, simplegreensmoothies.com. Although similar to their recipe, I wanted to be sure to take advantage of the peppermint essential oil (those that you can ingest.)
